So wanna Visit Jaunpur Shahi Qila?

The Shahi Qila situated in Jaunpur City UP. The Qila is situated close to Gomti River and near by Shahi Bridge.


The Shahi Qila is Surrounded by a wall with the width of 3FT.  The height of Shahi Qila gate is 14 Meter ( 46 FT). 

The Shahi Qila was made in 14th Century and it has also destroyed multiple times in different Empires and has also been renovated and repaired during the ruler of Mughal Empire.

Shahi Qila Jaunpur is also known as Karar Fort. It was constructed by Ibrahim Nabib Babak, In the Empire of Firoz Shah Tuglaq.

Later the Fort is also barricaded through the outerside walls to protect un-authorized entry. There is 20 rupees Entry Fee per head. After entering through the first Gate there is QR code displayed in bigger size. The visitor has to scan it through Google camera and then after filling the name and number of the visitors it ask for your UPI Id. After selecting the UPI ID you can pay the Entry Fee.


The unrevealed Sample 

Fort has three old built places, one  is Mosque, another is Hammam which mean bath House. and the last one is unrevealed sample. Actually nothing is mentioned on it like why it was made or what was the purpose behind building this. However this could be a place to enjoy the beautiful view of Gomti River as Gomti river goes from behind of this structure. So there might be a reason that this could have  specially built to enjoy Gomti River View.  


There is also Board Displayed by the Name of "OLD SHAHI FORT" which states that "Forming an irregular Quadrangle enclosed by ruined stone walls. This Great Fort was built or re built By Firoz Shah Tughlaq to the east of the northern end of the bridge on the old strong hold of kerarkot taking the material from Zafarabad. The approached form with in by a steep passage cut through the artificial mound. The eastern gate is in the shape of flanking Bastions. Munim Khan Built an outer court of brick with a fine Gate way of stone for deffence purpose. the Fort contains two main Buildings of interest. one is an almost perfect mode; of turkish bath of the reign of Ibrahim and other is  a Mosque built by Ibrahim naib Barak, The Brother of Firoz Shah Tughlaq. The Mosque which is 130 Fit long and 22 Fit broad is erected on Hindu Reign Pillars of various shapes and design. An inscribed Monolith dated 1766CE is placed outside the Entrance of the Fort.

Garden

This is a minar (tower) built in Mosque area and written in Arabic, however it is difficult to read because of being very old. Few letter have already fed away.  Apart from all these the Form is surrounded by beautiful garden and plantation.
